Excessive heat is a killer. The challenges of warfighting in high temperature environments limit the effectiveness, and sometimes the survivabiity of operations. This system provides relief from extreme temperatures, and allows the body thermoregulation system to function. It enhances cognitive ability, can remove the possibility of heat injuries, and strengthens mission success.
Even just to operate the weapon systems or navigation/communications systems, good cognitive function is needed, but to effectively prosecute the mission and avoid the many complex threats found in conflict currently it is critical.
